Audit Senior working with engagement teams delivering quality audit services to private companies, individuals and large multinational publicly listed entities. Over the course of my contract I completed a Chartered Accountant qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, having passed final admitting examinations on first sitting in Autumn 2014.Summary of responsibilities:  Planning, co-ordinating and supervising audits - involves managing groups of up to 5 people, working to stringent reporting/completion deadlines and monitoring of assignment budgets Preparing reports to group auditors for multinational clients covering statutory audit reporting, internal controls and accounting systems/procedures – primarily focused in manufacturing and retail sectors Preparation and critical review of board reports and financial statements, including cash flow statements, for single-entity and consolidated group accounts under Irish/UK GAAP and IFRS.  Acting as a key point of contact with the client and working with senior management in client organisations to fully understand and communicate the nature of their businesses and content of their financial statements Resolution of accounting and technical issues raised by clients Understanding, documenting, evaluating and testing internal controls including IT General controls, and reporting weaknesses and proposed solutions to management accordingly Instructing, supervising and training subordinate staff members in aspects of accounting and audit completion including delegation of appropriate work and review of this work in a structured format in order to assist the development of skills
