As a black immigrant woman with no background or experience in logistics, my success with building two shipping companies from scratch and without any initial funding, is truly unique.While going through the trials and errors of building my first business, I promised myself that whenever I had the resources, I would help other ecommerce entrepreneurs, so they wouldn't have to endure the same struggles I faced.In 2017, after years of saving from Relay Shop USA, my first venture, I finally started to help other ecommerce entrepreneurs by creating one of the first coworking spaces with a fulfillment center in Atlanta, GA.In 2019, I rebranded as ECOMSPACES, an ecommerce hub that offers all the services an ecommerce entrepreneur needs to grow their businesses, under one roof. My efforts and dedication helped some ecommerce brands grow from less than $100k to $5M+ revenue. I also helped thousands of people overseas start their own businesses with my international logistic solutions. I am planning to help even more by having ecomspaces head office in Ethiopia.Today, renowned brands like Holistic Reengineering (Dr Bobby Price), My Happy Flo (Necole Kane), Slutty Vegan (Pinky Cole) and many more are seeking my expertise in the field. In 2023, out of thousands of applicants and after pitching for the first time, I won $250,000 at the prestigious Black Ambition Prize Competition founded by Pharrell Williams. I also received recognitions and awards from UPS, the Hawks (NBA) and the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurship. I am currently part of the Mass Challenge Cohort of 2024 and a Comcast RISE Grant recipient of 2024.I am an immigrant from Guadeloupe and when I was 17, I moved to Montreal, Canada to pursue higher education in Social Work & Criminology. I later worked in crime prevention with young people in Montreal, Atlanta and London for 7 years.I am passionate about helping others who are underserved develop their potential.Being a minority entrepreneur is not just about surviving—it's about thriving and creating a legacy of empowerment for generations to come.
