I am a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, pursuing a major in Business Administration and a double minor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) and Chinese. I pride myself on being a creative problem solver, a quick learner, and a diligent worker. Gratitude and the desire to help others are what drive me. Reflecting upon all my past experiences, I see the common thread that ties them all together is helping people. As a Storytelling Intern for the Isabella Santos Foundation, I wrote inspiring blogs to move people to donate toward helping children with rare pediatric cancers. Through advising the Operations Committee for CWIB’s annual Jewels of Hope fundraiser, I helped victims of sexual assault acquire crucial support. Consulting pro-bono for a start-up called Virtual Hugs gave me a channel to help make mental and emotional healthcare accessible and affordable to everyone. Lastly, working as a Marketing Communications Intern for the Durham Arts Council allowed me to join the fight against defunding the arts, so I could ensure the kids get the opportunity to experience the arts. In any role I take on, I will find a way to lend a helping hand to the world around me.
