As an intern with the Expert Witness Testimony team, I helped prepare expert reports for state and federal legal cases, including criminal trials, civil lawsuits (e.g. victims of terrorism bringing suit against state sponsors of terrorism), and asylum cases. Assessments for these reports demonstrate a close attention to the fine granular details that are unique to each case, while contextualizing them to the broader threat landscape. I employed strong analytical skills and an understanding of sub-state threats, irregular warfare, and threats facing America and her allies.

I traveled to Warsaw, Poland to work at the Krzysztof Liedel Terrorism Research Center. In this program, I worked one-on-one with experts in the world of terrorism research to produce a paper that expands current considerations in the fight against extremism. My work focused on the relationship between organized far-right terrorist activity and hate crimes. The final paper, “Conjoined Threats: Examining the Interconnectivity of Hate Crimes and Right-Wing Terrorism,” is in the final stages of publication in two academic journals.

As a Youth Board Member, I created and reviewed RFK Human Rights' Speak Truth to Power (STTP) international "Become a Defender" curriculum, using the UN's sustainable development goals and gave participants personal objectives to promote human rights in their communities. I co-organized 4 weeks of "Good Trouble" seminars, which expanded the "Become a Defender" program to one-on-one workshops with 60+ international participants.
