Michael Aisner brings more than two decades of institutional real estate experience across the New York City market and Tri-State region, overseeing RXR’s 20 million square foot Class A commercial portfolio. He leads a team of 200 people, committed to state-of-the-art environments, operational best practices, capital improvements, budget optimization, and tenant satisfaction, benefitting work-place efficiencies and customer engagement for the 45,000 people occupying RXR’s commercial properties each day. Michael also leads RXR’s Corporate and Portfolio ESG strategy and policy implementation, driving asset operational performance, energy efficiencies, legislative compliance, and DEI commitment across relevant colleague and service provider bases. His leadership and efforts have effectuated 17 million square feet in LEED Certification, and 23 WELL Health and Safety Certified buildings, and a five star GRESB rating for the commercial portfolio.Michael was an integral leader within RXR’s industry-leading and nationally recognized COVID-19 task force, garnering media attention from the Wall Street Journal, and major television news networks for exemplary practices, site safety measures, and integration of technologies and communications services for RXR’s customers. He has also created the RXR Property Management Certificate Program, currently in its second year, serving as an integral learning, quality assurance, and management development tool for RXR’s large operations team.

Michael Aisner is the Senior Vice President for Property Management at RXR Realty where he manages over 22 million square feet of Class A commercial office space across New York City and Long Island. In this role Michael is evaluating and implementing policy changes across the portfolio with a focus on ESG reporting, energy management, employee engagement, and workflow optimization. Michael is a Principal member with BOMA NY, Chair of Commercial Management Council at REBNY, and an adjunct professor teaching classes at NYU, Fordham, and BOMA.

Michael Aisner is a Vice President, Portfolio Property Manager at RXR Realty, where he has worked since the end of 2010. In this capacity he oversees the management staff and supervises their operational activities including capital improvements, construction, staffing/training, and financial reporting for his NYC portfolio in excess of over 8 million square feet. He is also integral to the business planning for the assets and the strategic goals for corporate policies. Michael actively participates in lease negotiations, tenant retention, and lease compliance as part of his responsibilities.

In charge of the finances, day to day operations, legal compliance, and occupancy of a $500mm Class A office tower in Manhattan.
