Mai is a Shanghai-based, certified emotional empowerment coach from Canada, whose work centers on supporting others in rediscovering their whole, healed, true self. In her therapeutic coaching, she uses a holistic approach including IFS parts work, somatic experiencing, inner child work, and mindfulness. Mai supports individuals in their journeys in healing from anxiety, depression, trauma and addiction. In her connection circles, Mai fosters environments of creativity, curiosity, courage and compassion creating a safe container for participants to allow more authentic selves to come out, regardless of their appearance. She believes it is from this place of honesty that true connection and belonging can exist in this new world. Mai brings tremendous heart, energy, depth and humour to the learning and sharing experience.

Mai incorporated her knowledge and ability and shifted to training and developing people in enhancing their skills. She has been enjoying over 15 years of teaching, training and leading group discussion in divergent thinking, communication skills, presentation skills, conflict management and transformational leadership.

Was consistently delighted to see some initial painfully shy students turn into exuberant, confident ones. Hired, mentored, trained, and challenged junior teachers mostly from the US to better elicit clearer communication and creativity from the students.
