My name is Maite Guerra, and I am a graduate of New York University with a Master's in Politics and Specialization in American Politics.This program has expanded my education by giving me additional programming skills like STATA and SPPS. I also have had the opportunity to present my research at multiple conferences, including the New England Political Science Association and the Northeastern Political Science Association. While at NYU, I stepped out of my comfort zone and took classes at NYU Law School, where I became familiar with legal terms and documents. While also, became familiar with legal databases like West Law and Lexis. In addition, I took classes at NYU International Relations Department, where I learned how to create my own National Intelligence Estimate and brief it as if in a real setting. I proudly finished my Master's Thesis titled: "Government Overreach: Non-Responsive Files and the Scope of the Warrant to Search or Seize Private Property".
