Maite Inchaussandague currently resides in Maryland and is enrolled as a student at the Robert H. Smith School of Business. She is pursuing a dual major in International Business and Business Management. Originally from Argentina, Maite has moved fourteen times due to her father's professional obligations, an experience that has shaped her into a highly adaptable and sociable individual. She is proficient in three languages—Spanish, English, and French—and demonstrates strengths in effective communication, problem-solving, perseverance, and leadership, which have been critical to her success in navigating substantial change.While obtaining her associate degree at Howard Community College, Maite served as President of the Ambiciones Ambassadors club, an organization dedicated to supporting students, particularly those from the Hispanic community. She also held the position of Vice President of Leadership for the Honors Society at HCC, where she contributed to a research project exploring the dynamics of mentorship, with a focus on educating individuals to become effective mentors within their communities.Maite's professional experience includes a legal internship in Argentina, where she collaborated with a military lawyer. This experience resulted in an extensive comparative research paper, developed as part of the Rouse Scholars Program at HCC. In addition, her active participation in various academic programs has earned her multiple full-scholarship nominations to attend prominent conferences, such as the National Collegiate Honors Council Conference in Chicago, Illinois (November 2023), and the National Conference for College Women Student Leaders, hosted by the American Association of University Women (May 2023).Her interest in the legal field extends to active participation in the Maryland Student Legislature organization, where she engages in simulations of the legislative process for drafting and passing bills.
