At the age of 20, I decided to get a university degree. At the age of 25 I have a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, a Master’s Degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Comparative and International Politics. I learned that you should never give up. If you want to achieve something, you should go for it. This is also why I am very interested in women in politics. Women in politics will have to face many stereotypes and people that do not believe in them. Besides this interest, I also have a passion for numbers and learning new things and doing research is one way to absorb new information. For this I can use my statistical skills. Two examples of using these statistical skills are the two theses I wrote. I used SPSS to investigate women in politics based on multivariable regressions. This passion for learning and numbers is also why I want to work in a field where I can use these skills.
