- Led the non-profit organisation towards continuous development, to achieve the bigger goal of supporting International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme students throughout their studies,- Hosted teamwide meetings for progress reports and brainstorming sessions,- Supported the various teams in their activities and providing guidance,- Organised and facilitated timely recruitment cycles,- Partnered with the IB Festival of Hope to give students a platform to voice their ideas regarding the IB,-Worked on developing the IB Youth strategy.

IBlieve Talks, is IBlieve's newly established podcast channel. As the first Podcast Leads, we were responsible for:- Structured, curated, edited, and published the episodes of the podcast. - Set goals for the podcast. This included episode topics, length, and publicity platforms,- Worked on the long-term development plan of the podcast,- Communicated a clear timeline with the hosts such that brainstorming, recording, editing, and publishing was all done in a timely manner,- Highlighted IBlieve's achievements to the wider community,- Recommended potential guests for interviews.

- IBlieve tutor in Mathematics Anaylsis & Approaches, Physics, and Chemistry,- Prepared material to support the learning of students,- Designed self study material that ensures solidified understanding of the addressed topics.

- Overseeing and managing the 21 team members under the 5 engineering teams (structural, mechanical, control & safety, electrical, composites),- Progressing the development of the wind turbine prototype,- Work with Project Lead in managing the engineering teams meet their set objectives,- Work with Project Lead to develop an effective timeline for the prototype development,- Liaise with Project Lead to consider participation in the International Small Wind Turbine Competition (ISWTC) in the Netherlands.

- Designing the main structural components of the turbine using CAD,- Research to understand the different types of bearings, then deciding on the suitable type for the purpose at hand,- Investigating different material choices for the components,- Communicating with other teams (electrical, mechanical, and safety) to ensure the design requirements are all met,- Communicating with the legal researcher to ensure the future structural integrity aligns with regulations.

Researching and understanding Scottish and international regulations regarding building, operating, and connecting a micro-wind turbine to the grid. Compiling the legal requirements for parts such as the safety systems and height of the structure.

- Participate in council-wide discussions,- Brainstorm initiatives that may enhance the studying abroad experience for Emirati students in the UK,- Facilitate communication with the Federal Youth Authority,- Organise meeting minutes and clearly lay out action items for the council,- Organise the contents of the Google Drive for smooth navigation,- Prepare any formal documents that require sharing with external parties.

- Gathering feedback, ideas, and concerns from the cohort,- Passing the thoughts onto the relevant staff members or points of contact,- Attend Student Staff Liaison Committee(SSLC) meetings to voice student perspective and be part of brainstorming solutions,- Closing the loop by relaying the responses to the cohort,- Organise revision sessions before exams,- Act as the main point of contact between the cohort and the Chemical Engineering Society.

- Voicing student perspective as seen on-campus,- Discussing future steps that could improve student-industry interactions and engagement,- Attending meetings and focus groups with industrial representatives and teaching staff to provide feedback and ensure students are continuously part of the decision-making.

The Peer Assistance Learning Scheme (PALS) aims to provide support to first year university students from their peers in the higher years.Collaborating with other Scheme Leaders to run these sessions was done by:- Contacting the respective 1st-year course secretary for access to the course content,- Revising the course content to ensure we are up-to-date with any changes that may have occurred,- Preparing the material for the sessions. This included a presentation, interactive questions, and/or group exercises,- Host the learning sessions to reinforce information learnt during lectures or tutorials.

Alongside being a Scheme Leader, being the Vice Coordinator and Evaluation & Reporting Coordinator had separate responsibilities:- Creating a resource for Scheme Leaders to sign up for the sessions of their choice,- Communicating with Scheme Leaders at least 1 week before their sessions as a reminder to organise the material they plan on using during the session,- Submit the Scheme reports to the Student Association at the end of each academic semester,- Create and submit the Scheme handover material for the next committee.

- Attend workshops to develop skills and learn from each other,- Represent the society at international exhibitions, - Participate in Xposure, the Annual Photography Festival,- Host workshops to gain confidence in presenting technical information in front of crowds of different levels of experience.

Worked in the 3 sections of the Municipal Affairs Department: (1) Chemicals Section, (2) Waste Management Section, and (3) Municipal Affairs Section.The main tasks across the entire department were:- Analysing the Solid Waste Indicator from the Environmental Performance Index Report 2024, and submitting a Technical Report,- Revising products’ Safety Sheets to ensure only authorised shipments are accepted into the country,- Calculating Global Warming Potential (GWP) of compounds that contain different HCFCs used in industry,- Analysing the Pesticide Pollution Risk Indicator from the Environmental Performance Index Report 2024,- Analysing the Adjusted Emission Rates of Fluorinated Gases Indicator from the Environmental Performance Index Report 2024,- Analysing the Global Cooling Pledge and working on creating an outline of milestones needed to achieve all targets,- Conducting research on Sustainable Cooling,- Understanding the logistics associated with submitting data and reports to international conventions,- Creating a Municipal Handbook for Best Available Practices on Outsourcing and Privatisation of Municipal Tasks.

The Chemical Engineering Society has been known for its closely connected community, consistent social events, and continuously bringing about new initiatives for the students at Edinburgh. The responsibilities of being society President were:- Defining the society goals for the academic year,- Supporting and leading the 8 committee members,- Facilitating the execution of the society initiatives. These included (1) regular socials, (2) Industrial Insight Talks from graduates and staff, (3) Academic Families Scheme, (4) Society Ball, (5) attending the Frank Morton Sports Day, and (6) establishing the new Student Internship Panel, - Representing the society, and being the final decision maker where needed,- Managing finances and support justified financial decisions with the Treasurer,- Ensuring the society had a regular presence on social media that reflected the society values and student code of conduct.

- Working at Teviot Row House during the Fringe Festival,- Hosting Gilded Balloon at Teviot Row House,- Crowd coordination in the venue,- Ensuring the venue is clean, spacious, and all guests are catered to,- Responding to radio calls from team leaders and members,- Supporting the managing team and food & beverages team during busy hours.

- Leading the student media team,- Documenting student events and initiatives,- Producing content for future advertising,- Collaborating with students and scheduling recording sessions.

A Diplomacy Ambassador on the Ministry of Education's Ambassadors initiative. - Taking part of Model United Nations conferences at Georgetown University, Washington D.C,- Discussing global issues as the ambassadors of different countries,- Preparing resolution papers on the discussed global issues,- Brainstorm solutions to the global issues discussed,- Understand the importance of Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs).

- Leading a team of 20+ volunteers,- Assigning rotating tasks during morning assemblies, teacher conferences, and school-wide events,- Communicate with school admin for potential windows of student support, - Represent the volunteering student-body to external parties.
