I am working on a doctoral project about the psychology and neural basis of human randomization behavior. My work is multi-faceted, I am coordinating and conducting multiple research projects, including tasks such as:- Planning, scripting and executing fMRI study- Brain imaging data analysis with classical and machine learning methods (linear support vector machines) to predict peoples' behavior from neurophisiological data, using Python & MATLAB toolboxes- Creating 2 online experiments in JavaScript, behavioral data analysis in Matlab- Collaboration with team from University of Lübeck in shared research project- Supervision of two master studentsMy work has been published in two high impact journals and my last study is currently in the submission process.What I have learned:- Deepened my MATLAB and Python programming skills- Inferential statistics, statistical modelling techniques- Experimental design considerations- Data visualization and communication of results to various audiences- Git version control- Project and time management- Team work, interpersonal communication

During my internship at snowflake I have been completing the following tasks:* Answering ad hoc stakeholder questions using SQL and Python, including A/B testing, building alerting pipeline, churn analysis, time series forecasting, anomaly detection * Implementing alerting pipelines to automatically inform stakeholders of significant occurrences in the data* Building dashboards to help stakeholders make data driven decisions using streamlit and snowflake.

In this internship at the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience Berlin (CCNB), I was researching the influence of memory processes on value-based decision making and reinforcement learning with diffusion weighted imaging techniques. Eventually, I wrote my master's thesis on this project.During this project I have collected and analyzed neuroimaging and behavioral data with MATLAB and FMRIB Software Library.What I have learned:- Analysis pipelines for neuroimaging data- Automatizing analysis with shell scripting - Considerations on experimental design of studies- Communication with participants- Working in a team with other researchers, as data collection was a team effort with a tight time schedule

I started my work as a research intern and was offered a student assistant position at RWI Essen. I was involved in research about behavioral economics of household energy consumption and psychological effect of energy efficiency labels on home appliances.My work included small statistical programming tasks in STATA, creating data visualizations, literature research and presentations, I was a co-author of a scientific publicationWhat I have learned:- Data analysis using Stata- Systematic literature search- LaTex manuscripting- publishing process of a manuscript to a scientific journal
