The Tour of Flanders Women has been organized since 2004, Omloop Het Nieuwsblad since 2006. In recent years major progress has been made in terms of the professionalisation of women’s cycling. But there still a lot of work to do. Flanders Classics aims to continue to play a pioneering role in these developments. Therefor we worked out an ambitious 3-year plan ‘Closing The Gap’ and started to roll this plan out in 2020 thanks to partner KPMG. Belgian National Road Championships (2019)Communication & event management during the 2019 Belgian National Road Championships in Gent. UCI Road World Championships (2021)Sustainability manager Sustainability is one of the core values of the upcoming UCI Road World Championships in Flanders. The 100th anniversary gives us the opportunity to look back on the previous century and many beautiful memories but we also need to look ahead, for the next generations to come. Currently working on a sustainability plan with all stakeholders (UCI, federations, Flemish government, host cities,...) to make sure Flanders 2021 becomes one of the most sustainable Road World Championships in history.
