A not for profit maker and professional engineer with an MBA.Developer of 3D printers, all based on the original open source RepRap.Founder of MaJaMo Limited to work as a freelance, independent communications expert bringing intelligence across technical operational and commercial disciplines to organisations developing new ways to communicate over traditional and new technologies.Developed mobile communications technology from the very start (1985). Responsible for the network model and technology that made Vodafone the most efficient network in the world. Developed the first network based prepay technology fueling the mobile explosion in the UK in the 1990's. Central to the creation of Vodafone's Product Development directorate where all the technical and marketing skills were concentrated to bring innovation to Vodafone customers. Founder member of Vodafone's wholesale business unit developing the technology and relationships that took Vodafone from zero to hero in the MVNO market.

    I'm living off my small but sweet Vodafone pension, so spend my time designing, making, repairing and re-using stuff for myself and anyone who is interested. Firm believer in open source and constantly amazed when I can solve a problem with a combination of open source 3D printer an open-source microcontroller all using free design tools. Add to that a workshop stocked with cool tools and a sewing room, I'm in my idea of heaven.
