-Implement and develop of company’s Procurement Policies and Strategies to ensure effective, comprehensive and compliant purchasing process by daily checking and controlling all procurement activities-Coordinating purchasing activities and process in line with the company’s procedures and compliance to ensure that purchasing activities meet established targets and standards:• supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiations and selection• contracts preparation• placing orders, approving all purchasing requests• ensuring complete documentation for central purchases• travel management-Identification of synergies between different departments to ensure cost benefit by gathering data from requestors -Analyzes of purchasing requirements, market trends and indirect costs in order to achieve highly optimized total cost of ownership (TCO); identify cost reduction opportunities, payment terms, savings -Sourcing and identification of potential suitable suppliers; performs all duties related to supplier evaluation and selection; negotiations of procurement terms and conditions with potential suppliers in order to maximize company’s benefits and that they are in the organization’s best interests; plan and perform re-negotiations related to needs of product and services for the company; maintain up-to-date supplier information-Develop and negotiate contracts with key suppliers in collaboration with the Legal department -Support regional Procurement Community initiatives, generate purchasing reports and statistics-Monitor compliance on all procurement related activities to assure that business and ethical standards are consistently maintained and that Bayer's purchasing conduct meets the highest standard of integrity-Support business in Event Management and support site service activities

Developing procurement strategies to increase the efficiency of the supplier base through establishing specific supplier selection criteria, identifying strategic purchasing groups, creating plans to identify or develop alternate suppliersEstablishing and negotiating contract terms and conditions, maintaining relationships with suppliers and ensuring that contractually agreed results from sourcing initiatives are applied in operational purchasing; driving cost savings to meet the company’s goals and objectivesMaintaining the purchasing policy and ensuring that all purchases comply with it, developing and improving Purchase-to-Pay process and purchasing guidelinesEnsuring an appropriate structure which enables the aggregation of group wide Procurement volumes and activities to realize synergy opportunities Reducing complexity of operational purchasing activities, performing them to achieve maximum optimization in transactions processing and ensuring process aligned with Accounts Payable Executing and monitoring local purchasing (creating purchase orders, tracking and reducing of NON PO and Late spend, cooperating daily with Shared Service Center to enable payments)Building outstanding relationships to ensure the purchasing function is seen as a valuable business partner, meeting their needs and supporting the company’s strategic goals and growth plans.
