I commenced my career in the Insurance Industry in March 1979 with General Accident Insurance Company. In 1983 I entered the Insurance Brokerage side of the Business, Adrian J. Glynn & Co for twenty years and thereafter worked for other Brokerage firms up to Retirement in Árachas in December 2019.I am currently the President of The Insurance Institute of Galway, have been a member since 1979, being elected to Council in 2015. I obtained my Diploma as a Certified Insurance Practitioner in 2015 and I am one of the founding members and currently the chairperson of Galway Arís, in 2018 . Hailing originally from Mervue, Galway City and presently residing in Kiltulla, Castlegar, with husband Gerry my other interest is the GAA and – I am Secretary of GAA Club, Castlegar.
