In 2018 "Jr Thomas and the Volcanos" have reached #1 on the Billboard Reggae Charts with Rockstone an Album mastered by Brian (also on Sax).Brian began perfecting the art of recording long before he founded Rockwell Sounds in 2002. As a kid, he made countless cassettes of sounds, songs, and stories as audible postcards to his grandparents. In high school, he played the saxophone in rock and jazz bands and produced weekly news broadcasts for his school. By the time he was in college, he was programming at KLON 88.1 fm, a nationally syndicated radio station and recording with bands all over Los Angeles, well known for Sublime (Baritone Saxophone - 40oz to Freedom). Major works include The Debonaires - Long Shout, Westbound Train - Transitions, The Adventures of Donkey Ollie- Shipwrecked (film), Halfway Decent - Ernie Hudson (film), Motograter - a new breed, Daniel Whitington - Taking You Home, and Monkey - Cruel Tutelage and Lost at Sea. Rockwell Sounds closed its doors in 2009 but Brian continues his work in Los Angeles as an educator and freelance musician/engineer/producer.INThe Majestic – This 21ft control room on wheels outfitted with a blend of Brian's handmade, altered audio devices and state of the art equipment travels the streets of Los Angeles in search of unique sounds and songs. This unique tool helps Brian collaborate with a wide variety of artists and environments including Professor Morganfield – Adventures in Time (video game), Dustonius Maximus – (Band), as well as various podcasts and field recording projects.

Wallace’s students have become sought after voices of the new generation of working musicians. This successful program hovered in the 100 - 125 range of yearly participants with many continuing in the music industry and education fields. Brian pioneered many school/technology programs including 2 school FM Radio Stations, Recording Technology Classes, and the creation of the Atascadero Fine Arts Academy. Productions included many Wallace originals along with: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Song of Singapore, A Shayna Maidel, The Diviners, and Guys and Dolls.

KLON 88.1fm1989 - 1996 - Starting as a Mail Clerk, Brian worked his way through this public radio station exiting as Assistant Music Director in 1996. Through his tenure the station rose to #1 Jazz Station in the states while adding a significant European market.
