Atascadero High School 1998 - 2004 Director of Instrumental Music - Under the unique directing style of Mr. Wallace, the small town of Atascadero became a hotbed of talent. Wallace’s students have become sought after voices of the new generation of working musicians. This successful program hovered in the 100 - 125 range of yearly participants with many.

KLON 88.1fm1989 - 1996 - Starting as a Mail Clerk, Brian worked his way through this public radio station exiting as Assistant Music Director in 1996. Through his tenure the station rose to #1 Jazz Station in the states while adding a significant European market. Brian worked closely with Chuck Niles and such luminaries as James Brown and Gerry Mulligan.
