Lead the data analytics and engineering efforts for multiple LATAM products, providing expertise in data analysis, reporting, and management to drive data-driven decision-making.Key Responsibilities:Data Analysis & Cross-Referencing: Process, cross-reference, and synthesize data from diverse sources to extract actionable insights. Conduct historical data analysis and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to support strategic decision-making.Reporting & Data Visualization: Design, develop, and maintain detailed reports and interactive dashboards in Looker providing stakeholders with clear and actionable insights.Data Standardization & Consultation: Standardize metrics across projects, consult on the development of queries, and ensure data accuracy. Responsible for organizing the Looker Semantic Layer for LATAM products to ensure consistency and efficiency.Data Loading & Integration: Oversee data loading processes for seamless integration and analysis, ensuring all relevant data is available for reporting and decision-making.

- Development of social media-based metrics for community resilience, such as analyzing tweet topics during disaster stages.- Development of a framework that analyses the location of services within a city to identify social disparities by comparing the status quo versus an optimal location based on demand and distance.- Worked along with SERC (Systems Engineering Research Center) on a paper that compared the impact of "work-at-home" policies during the pandemic within the systems engineering community with other population cohorts.

In charge of the data analysis for the weex mobile business, which included:- Acquisition of daily and monthly KPIs, by extracting data from Amazon Redshift- Development of business strategies for growth and user retention

Collaborator on the logistics databases management team:- Keep the records on manufacturing databases (SAP) updated and accurate for daily operation.- Improve a routinary activity for KPIs acquisition by automatizing files in VBA .- Participate in a regional project to implement a unified tool (JDA) for supply chain planning.

I was part of the RIPS program (Research in Industrial Projects for Students), in IPAM, an institute on UCLA. I worked with the company CSX, one of the US leading transportation suppliers, and the project was about developing an algorithm that schedule optimized ballast-cleaner routes, completing high priority jobs in minimum time.
