Assisting Radiation Oncologist's research in comparing dosimetry for Rapid VMAT to standard VMAT for palliative radiotherapy in patients with lung cancer. Responsibilities include:• Contouring Organs-At-Risk on CT• Evaluating dose-volume histograms and comparing organ-specific dose constraints between Rapid and Standard VMAT• Assisting with research ethics approval, manuscript preparation and presentation at international conferences

Serve as an external reviewer for select articles prior to publication in the UBC Medical Journal• Review articles for quality and thoroughness of research and writing • Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to both authors and editors-in-chiefs• Ensure articles accept are within the scope and mandate of the UBC Medical Journal

Volunteered with RockDoc and Odyssey Medical Services to provide medical care at large-scale public events, such as Pemberton Music Festival, Contact Winter Music Festival, and Rock n'Roll marathon series.

Collaborated with the Vancouver Stroke Research Program and stroke neurologists in creating, updating and maintaining the Vancouver Stroke Database Registry for information management, quality assurance and data analysis. This project also involved:• Creating new Stroke Consultation and Neurological Assessment forms to match database parameters• Data collection from all patients seen by the stroke service for quality assurance and clinical research• Presentation of research at the local and national level

Research in delayed manifestations of abdominal trauma on CT resulting in a publication in Abdominal Radiology. Responsiblites included:• Data stratification and analysis• Detailed literature review• Preparation of manuscript and figures

Investigated the effects of prenatal alcohol exposure on offspring immunity by:• Performing organ extraction and tissue homogenization from rats for cytokine quantification• Conducting the statistical analysis on data generated from multiplex cytokine and BCA protein assays • Presentation of data at numerous local and national conferences, and in manuscripts for publication
