I believe in the power and potential of community conservation land-use planning. Participating in a collective process to help determine how local lands are used, managed, and planed for is what excites me. To help build and promote a community's capacity for connection, restoration, and civic contribution is where I would like to direct my professional efforts. I am an intensely curious human that is fascinated by the intersections of land management, natural resource conservation, cross-sector and community collaborations, environmental restoration, civic engagement, story-telling, and sense-of-place. Particularly, I am interested in the watershed council and land trust models of conservation planning.
