Responsible for all the CAPEX projects in the live complex which underwent a very challenging and demanding upgrade of all facilities in a limited time frame. The Raffles City Hotels complex in Singapore consists of two hotels: the 1252 room Swissotel The Stamford, the 778 room Fairmont Singapore and Raffles City Convention Centre. It is situated within a landmark mixed use development and is a leased property with a total area of 250,000 sq metres. The complex under went a major refurbishment with a spend of SGD200M over 3 years.2018 saw all areas in the Swissotel The Stamford upgraded. This included: All the 1252 guestrooms and Suites,The Executive Lounge, 5 nos. Food and Beverage Outlets,The 8,000m2 Convention Centre, and The Hotel Lobby.In 2019 areas in the Fairmont Singapore were renovated:413 guestrooms and SuitesThe Gold Lounge4 nos. Food and Beverage outletsPool DeckThe work was done while the hotel was fully operational and was completed within time and budget to a quality which is representative of the hotel brands. Initiatives and innovations included:-The first Swissotel Vitality rooms which have dedicated gym equipment and lighting to ensure the well being of guests.-The first use of a fully automated self check in desk at the lobby which has greatly simplified and speeded up the check in/check out process.-The first use of GPON high speed IT networks and rooms controls to create ‘smart’ user friendly guest rooms.-The first use of a filtered water dispensing system in guest rooms and suites. Environmentally friendly as plastic bottled water are no longer used in the rooms)

Client representative for Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank (HSBC) Corporate Real Estate. Projects included Vendor Management training and HSBC Main Building high profile special projects. Other roles included technical due diligence for luxury hospitality properties plus facilities and project management for the Hong Kong Jockey Club and West Kowloon Cultural District.

Hsbc Main Building

Leadership and management of different service lines in the HSBC Main Building. These include Project Management, Facilities Management, Risk, Safety, Communications, Cost and Commercial. Successfully led a major upgrade of the MEP Critical Systems which included replacement of HV transformers, new UPS rooms and replacement of M&E systems infrastructure.

Intercontinental Hong Kong

Head of the Engineering Department. Instrumental in the US$70M upgrade of the property. Responsible for engineering policies, systems, programs and mentoring of hotel engineers in the region.

Regal Airport Hotel, Hong Kong

Member of the pre-opening team. Participated in the commissioning of all engineering systems in the hotel.

Member of pre-opening team. Led and managed the Engineering Department.
