Supporting the IWDA team to manage a program porfolio in Cambodia and Myanmar (MOVE) by providing coordination support to IWDA’s partnership and program implementation of the Movements and Voice for Equality (MOVE) Program funded by the Foundation for a Just Society (FJS), and the project funded by Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP)- Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). - Coordinate the development and implementation of IWDA’s portfolio of partnerships and programs in Cambodia,- Coordinate the monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) processes that gather evidence of programachievements of IWDA's partners, - Maintain and support communication, relationship with partners, advocacy, and fundraising activities.

Working for UNESCO in Cambodia to foster and strengthen media development, rights to information, press freedom, journalists’ safety, and freedom of expression in Cambodia using gender-based, and human rights-based approach. The program focuses on policymaking, national strategic development, capacity building, research, and advocacy. - Co-designing three new projects in Cambodia, funded by Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), and Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), and the United Nations Partnership on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNPRPD). -Designing and implementing all the project activities incorporating gender-based and human-rights based approach, enhancing UNESCO’s core mandates to promote gender equality and the free flow of ideas by words and images.- Monitoring and backstopping all relevant programs activities within the framework of UNESCO’s media development work•Providing technical assistance including development of needs assessments and designing technical papers and policy brief in the areas of media development, freedom of expression, access to information, and press freedom. •Managing meetings, trainings, workshops, dialogues, and conferences as part of the programme implementation.- Preparing project briefs and progress reports in consultations with partners and project team before submitting regular report to donors.- Managing contractors and local partners to execute program activities effectively and efficiently, reflecting the projects’ outcomes and goals. - Developing terms of reference and procuring international and national consultants, experts, and service providers and ensuring close supervision for quality delivery of products, services, and deliverables.- Budgeting and track expenses of each project outcome and projects’ activities.- Coordinating and building strong relationship with local partners and inter-ministries, and private sectors.

I worked for UNESCO to implement the project called, “Working towards an Access to Information Law in Cambodia: Bridging the Government and Citizens for Participatory Law-Making” (A2I Project).- Providing technical assistance to the Ministry of Information and media community for review and finalisation of the draft Law on Access to Information (A2I). - Supporting in designing and commemorating the International Day for Universal Access to Information, in consultation with Ministry of Information, media development partners, media community, and journalists in Cambodia•Identifying partners and supported in designing capacity building activities to strengthen A2I ecosystem in the country, especially through thematic areas including (a) Fake news and A2I nexus, (b) ethical investigative journalism and safety of journalists, and (c) Media and Information-Literacy (MIL)•Supporting in preparing necessary project progress reports, communication with the donor and partners, as well as the final project report.•Providing technical assistance to develop concept notes and project documents, based on a thorough needs analysis, for potential next stages of the A2I project related to freedom of expression and media development issues•Conducting and providing technical assistance for active functioning of the media development working group, including supporting coordination with media partners, and mapping of media donors and stakeholders in the country.•Coordinating in communication with other United Nations Communication Group (UNCG) to promote UNESCO’s activities.

I was engaged by UNDP to work in support of the project-building an enabling environment for sustainable development (BESD). I am working on the development and implementation of the strategic communications plan to fight plastic pollution and to promote BESD.•Develop communication strategies/approaches/roadmaps for plastic campaign agreed among key partners•Implement communication strategy in align with UNDP guidelines •Develop and produce communication and social media contents and materials for the Ministry of Environment (MoE) and general public•Support MoE to run the communication plan on plastic reduction •Support the youth led anti-plastic campaigns and workshops •Develop multimedia communication materials for workshops/events/campaigns including the youth-led video competition and social media campaign •Produce media advisory, press release, feature stories, and Op-ed, video documentation of the project successes•Build relations with local and international media to cover the events •Produce report about results of the communications plan implementation

I was commissioned by the ABC to conduct two Endline research studies after I graduated from Australia, and successfully completed the assignments with high-quality outcomes as part of monitoring and evaluation process. - Designing research methodology aligning with the Baseline study to evaluate DFAT funded and ABC managed Cambodia Communication Assistance Project (CCAP) across five target provinces including Battambang, Kampong Cham, Siem Reap, Kampot and Kratie. The research studies focussed on better governance and combating violence against women as key themes of the project. - Leading the research team to collect data using qualitative and quantitative methodologies. - Liaising with the governmental officials both at national and sub-national levels for interviews and managing and analysing data using SPSS and Thematic analysis. - Producing Endline reports of the two project activities (Check Link 1 and Link 2) to be incorporated into the CCAP’s completion report.

I led a program team to implement number of activities of the DFAT funded Cambodia Communication Assistance Project (CCAP) to promote better governance at sub-national level.- Liaising and working with the Ministry of Information, the Ministry of Interior, provincial departments of information, sub-national governments, non-governmental organizations to implement the project related to good governance and violence against women. - Training and mentoring relevant staff of four provincial departments of information (PDIs) to produce Talkback radio programs and news stories on good governance and violence against women and gender equality issues to give voices to the public and hold the government accountable and transparent.- Conducting brief studies on good governance, gender equality, violence against women, and women empowerment at the sub-national and national levels. - Coordinating, supporting, monitoring, and reviewing project implementation in line with the project’s goal and outcomes. - Coordinating with civil society organisations and the Ministry of Women’s Affairs to identify key challenges faced by women and build local partners’ capacity to develop contents for radio programs with aims to promote gender equality and end violence against women. - Establishing listener’s clubs across the target areas in Cambodia, by promoting women’s participation and voices, demanding better service deliveries from the local government. - Developing and documenting successes of the project activities, especially pitching the women’s voices in demanding better governance, and reporting issues concerning their safety. - Supporting counterparts’ staff to develop and implement business and marketing strategy for their sustainability. - Supervising several staff members including the Information Communication Technology Officer.- Providing the ABC for online publication with success stories and research reports and identifying challenges, risks and lessons learned.

I was selected to backfill as Radio Australia's only Khmer producer/presenter. I spent time producing a daily international radio program covering Cambodian and international stories. My core tasks were: - Produced Cambodian News - Translated English/Khmer News- Presented News - Edited Radio program - Managed Social Media and Website
