As a student volunteer at Greensboro Urban Ministry, I support the organization's mission to provide food, shelter, and hope to people in need. I assist with various tasks, such as preparing and serving meals, sorting and distributing donations, and interacting with clients and staff. I have earned the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross and the Truist Emerging Leaders certification from the Truist Leadership Institute, which demonstrate my competencies in critical thinking, organization, and interpersonal skills. I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and exercise science at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where I am interested in learning about the science of human movement and health. I am passionate about helping others and improving the well-being of my community.
