I have extensive experience collaborating with over 50 doctors across multiple specialties in Lafayette, LA and throughout Houston, TX including, Level 1 Trauma, Pediatrics ER, Outpatient Internal Medicine, and Primary Care. This dynamic experience allows me to contribute to different aspects of healthcare and gain valuable insights from a range of medical environments throughout the city.As a medical scribe, I adeptly navigate each facility's EMR system, ensuring accurate documentation for provider’s medical charts, encompassing HPI, ROS, PE, and treatment plans. I monitor lab and imaging results, input EKG interpretations, procedures, and X-ray findings. Additionally, I possess experience in billing and coding procedures.As a travel scribe, I implement new facilities by training incoming scribes with the essential knowledge and skills required to support providers and fulfill action plans at understaffed sites. Conducting training audits, I observe scribe performance and offer constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
