This includes a wind facility in South Africa with a 139.4 MW MEC.5. From my network planning experience, I led a network strengthening project to improve voltage level from 93.49% to at least 95% over a period of 5 years on an 11kV feeder. The project proved essential to the stability of the network and was cost-effective, at a value of about R1,6 million (US$90k).In this project, I have conducted various studies, which include load forecasting, network analysis, load transfer, and eventually proposing a solution that improved the voltage to 96.6%, which is above the required minimum of 95%.
