My team and I install about 40 miles of power lines across 36 distinct power grids on a 4700 acre work site in one of the most inhospitable environments in the world.

My first large scale artistic endeavor, I used my connections in the Burning Man arts scene to bring together a world class team of artists, fabricators, carpenters, programmers, lighting designers and architectural engineers. I lead the design process, working closely with our sponsors and the Burning Man arts department. Once the crew was assembled and the design in production, I acted as Project Manager and to ensure that deadlines and milestones were understood and met, that my crew had all the resources they needed, and oversaw our PR and crowdfunding campaigns. I handled our accounting, ensured compliance with fire safety regulations for our pyrotechnics and flame effects, and volunteer management as our crew more than doubled in size in the final months. And finally, I personally made sure that all of our crowdfunding backer rewards were fulfilled on time.I also filled in as needed in any areas where we were understaffed or behind schedule, including welding and electrical installation.

At Graftworx I worked as lead Product Manager for the entire technical division, including engineering and software development. We were working to bring smart, network enabled medical sensors to market for the kidney dialysis patient population, with an end to end secure network solution.Duties included capturing requirements from leadership, customers, clinical and regulatory directors, and bridging the gap between those and the technical requirements and capabilities of the engineering and development teams.Sat on the executive committee, and contributed to company strategy, User Experience Design and management of outside contractors.Conducted UX research and requirements gathering, resulting in greater usability and customer satisfaction.
