This project with the National 4-H Council, a U.S.-based network of youth organizations whose mission is engaging youth to reach their fullest potential while advancing the field of youth development. Our collective aim was to undertake a comprehensive archiving project, aimed at digitizing and preserving 4-H's precious artifacts.The project involved digitizing over 700 items of historical significance, some of which dated back to the 1960s. Our goal was to ensure that these invaluable treasures were not lost to the ravages of time and that they would be securely stored in the National Archives for future generations to appreciate.With the 4-H Council's offices shutting down, our digital curation project served as an important step towards preserving their legacy. By successfully completing this project, we have ensured that 4-H's rich history will be forever remembered and cherished. This project with the National 4-H Council has truly been a meaningful and rewarding experience, contributing towards a worthy cause and furthering the cause of youth development.
