When I was younger, I pulled apart my computer to my parents’ dismay. Rather than getting in trouble, they left me to my devices. Shortly after, they heard the sounds of game play. When asked why I pulled my computer apart my response was “why not, I wanted to see if I could make it faster”. The IT seed was planted. Even today I still “pull” things apart to see how they work, how to fix them and how to make them better.Throughout my IT career, no matter what I was doing, I came to realise that there was one thing that needed protecting the most……Our Identity. Particularly our digital identity. Our identity is our biggest asset. Today with all the data breaches, hacking, identity theft and spam it’s no wonder that we are at a crossroads. Now my “pull” is all about how we secure our identity better and safer. This could be as simple as making sure strong passwords are used to securing an endpoint (desktop/laptop/mobile device), network, application or operating systems. Security is not just one of these but all.I’ve always been called a “Jack of all trades”. An All-Rounder. This has made it easier for me to have a broader view of where security risks are and how they can be strengthened. Now it’s all about inspiring and educating people. I bring my knowledge, experience and skills to help you understand the pain points, and support you to put practical, secure solutions in place. If you'd like to know more about how I can help you then please connect with me.
