I learnt to live, adapt and adjust in a disaster environment- getting used to tremors every 6 hours and waking up to dogs and people screaming in the middle of the night were just some of the things. I was constantly seeking creative solutions and opportunities, and using technology foremost to assist the people and create an impact. This experience also gave me a comprehensive view and critical analysis of coordination systems post disaster- namely the cluster system under the UN OCHA.
