I was managing and leading 2 projects during my time at Samagra.Chief Minister's Good Governance Associates (CMGGA), Haryana CMGGA is a flagship program of the Chief Minister's office Haryana. This program is a collaboration between the Chief Minister’s office in Haryana (government), Ashoka University (academia) and Samagra.• Primary point of contact to the Chief Minister's office for everything related to the program, new projects and ad-hoc requests• Responsible for strategy and design of governance transformation initiatives in all 22 districts with CMGGAs across several domains including education, health & sanitation, e-governance, social justice, and woman empowerment.• Responsible for providing professional development and mentorship to 25 CMGGAs

Vidya Vikaasam Program, Andhra Pradesh- Systemic Education Transformation program of the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. Our mandate was to diagnose gaps in the learning levels of children and implement programs to improve the same.• Responsible for the formation and realization of the program• Entrusted with capacity building of 52 government officials and creating momentum at various levels• Led a team to diagnose, design and implement projects towards improving learning levels of school-going children• Successfully implemented initiatives for remedial learning of students, teacher training, school monitoring and community engagement through large scale parent-teacher meetings

All Hands Volunteers is a US-based, 501(c)3 non-profit organization that addresses the immediate and long-term needs of communities impacted by natural disasters by engaging and leveraging volunteers, partner organizations and local communities.• Leading and supporting project teams across multiple countries- Nepal, Ecuador and the Philippines in their Operations strategy and financial decision-making• Creating systems and processes for smooth running of operations across our International projects • Leading the Partnerships team on-ground regarding site assessments, new partner development/proposals and creating budgets and timelines for potential partners. • Crafting robust budgets, forecast models and financial tracking systems that facilitate the teams on ground to make the best decisions.• Delivering finance/accounting training programs to project staff on-ground.

Disaster Response and Assessment Task force (DART) is a team put together by All hands immediately post disaster to get into the country and engage in ground assessments, surveying the damage, liaising with other organizations for immediate relief, setting up a potential project and identifying opportunities for long-term recovery. I was part of a 14-member team that was deployed in Nepal, post the great earthquake of 2015. My primary responsibilities were:- - Worked on strategizing the entry of All Hands operations into Nepal; this is from a operational and financial perspective keeping in balance the various political factors and danger of future earthquakes.- Assessed and evaluated disaster sites for potential volunteer work- Created partnerships with local organizations/NGOs and sourced local volunteersWhile being challenging and heart-wrenching to see death and destruction on a scale like never before, these 2 months in Nepal was one of the most enriching experiences of my life. I learnt to live, adapt and adjust in a disaster environment- getting used to tremors every 6 hours and waking up to dogs and people screaming in the middle of the night were just some of the things. I was constantly seeking creative solutions and opportunities, and using technology foremost to assist the people and create an impact. This experience also gave me a comprehensive view and critical analysis of coordination systems post disaster- namely the cluster system under the UN OCHA.

BrainJuicer was founded in 1999 with one goal in mind: to re-invent market research. Applying behavioral sciences to market research is what drives clients to BrainJuicer when traditional methodologies have failed, to facilitatechange within their organizations and to turn true human understanding into business advantage. I was one among four in a team that managed projects in India. Being a tough market, it was a challenge to promote behavioral models and methodologies to clients who are mostly comfortable with traditional methodologies. The course explores abstract, creative topics in Mathematics such as Mobius strips, paradoxes, logical distributions, graph theory, geometry and set theory including Induction analysis with an objective to groom students to - Develop a set of broadly useful problem solving skills and strategies- Gain experience in critical and analytical thinking- Develop writing skills- Encounter some of history's landmark ideas.

FourthLion is a political and development consulting firm that seeks to create impact at scale by leveraging the government machinery. I worked on a project in their political and governance consulting arm, Samagra. Samagra works with political leaders and governments at various levels to create sustainable and scalable impact. It undertakes a wide variety of mandates to achieve its goal of driving development through governance. My primary responsibilities/achievements were:- - Collaborated on a 7 week project with Nandan Nilekani (founder of Infosys) and his team to visualize a project plan that would be put into implementation if he won his constituency election to be a Member of Parliament (Elections of 2014)- Created a roadmap with milestones of what an MP (Member of Parliament) can achieve in the first 100 days after election.- Designed a grievance redressal system and infrastructure development plan for the MP’s constituency.

I worked in their Singapore office (the regional HQ) as a Project Manager responsible for rolling out new product launches in initiatives in Olay brand. My primary achievements and responsibilities were:-- Led teams across 5 countries to deliver 8 initiatives in Total Effects and Regenerist boutiques of Olay- a total budget of $45 million- Designed end-to-end supply chain system for Big Bang, the most complex project in Olay; this will be reapplied to future projects.- Identified redundant SKUs through cost-benefit analysis and maximized productivity and efficiency of SKU line-up saving $3 million- Graduated to Intermediate level in Product Supply leadership. - Organized company events (Easter, Family day etc.) through Vibe team to promoteinter-cultural understanding and strengthen relationships in the team

I worked in their Singapore office (the regional HQ) as a Product supply intern during the summer of 2010. Due to my exemplary work, I was directly given a full-time position post graduation. My primary achievements and responsibilities were:- - Worked on a project aimed to improve SKU productivity of Asia Prestige Female Beauty by eliminating and/or trading consumers up/across the least productive SKUs in the line-up- Led a multi-national team in identifying key opportunities to drive simplification in Asia Prestige Female Beauty (APFB)- Recommended options to maximize SKU productivity based on analysis of business impact- Developed a Cost of Complexity model which quantified the costs of maintaining an SKU based on the level of complexity involved

My primary responsibilities/achievements were:-- Conducted End to end process design, process mapping and business process re-engineering for current and future plant expansion & supply chain requirement- Attained basic knowledge of utilizing SAP system for management reporting purposes- Conducted cost modeling analysis to ensure optimal performance in terms of cost and service- Programmed Excel VBA Macros to greatly expedite analysis of data samples- Worked on a design project developing new product supply lines in conjunction with Sales and Marketing
