Responsible for 10 direct reports that support 10 component school districts and Clackamas ESD itself in the following: ERP (Tyler Technologies' Infinite Visions), SIS (Edupoint's Synergy), internal CESD technology support, and hardware repair. For these services, I support a full service help desk, a business analyst, a data analyst, and programmer for the SIS; a programmer to support the ERP; two staff to support internal CESD client support needs; and one hardware repair tech. Activities are also coordinated with server and network teams. I also represent CESD in the following roles: Leader of the Oregon SIS Consortium and Technical Advisor to the Board for Education Nexus Oregon (Ed-Fi). Internally, I lead the Meet, Confer, and Consult bargaining group and serve on the CESD Leadership Team and Technology Advisory committee. Create an open-source Student Information System for Higher Education. System is called Kula SIS and available on GitHub.

Currently moving nine of the eleven Clackamas County school districts from eSIS to Synergy SIS and Synergy SE. Project activities include data conversion scripts and validation activities, custom solutions and reporting and solving problems with both the front-end application and the back-end data conversion activities. Serving on the scheduling, security, graduation requirements/course history, and special education teams. Have a deep understanding of both applications so that the data can be modeled for the receiving system.

Leadership position. Responsible for developing, implementing, and executing all of HNS’s policies and procedures with relation to finances, with special attention to recommendations from the recent WASC accreditation and CPA consultant. The areas of the school’s finances include following GAAP and FASB for non-profit entities, maintaining general ledger and chart of accounts, budgeting, internal and external reporting, auditing, financial aid, payroll, on-boarding, benefits, accounts payable, vendor negotiations and contracts, and information systems. Also, preparing, leading, and taking minutes of finance committee meetings and prepare and present board financial reports to school board. Managed a $3 million budget. Served as Finance Committee Lead, Staff Representative on School Board, Member of Administrative Team.

Established new position at the middle school. Responsible for student records including all middle school master scheduling and grade reporting. Also data mined, analyzed and presented to both administration and faculty at the needs of the principal.

Responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting a custom-built student/parent web portal built using PHP and SQL Server called KS Connect used by over 10,000 parents, students, teachers, and administrators. System integrated with SMS (originally SASI), Easy Grade Pro, and FACTS (tuition billing). Additional functionality was added to extend the SIS including registration for next school year, releasing of schedules & report cards, and progress reports.
