CurrentResponsible for overseeing the US State Department-supported "Women’s Empowerment through Economic Inclusion" project in Bangladesh, with a focus on promoting the inclusion of women in business for green and sustainable trade.Expand Women-Owned Businesses Relationships:• Promote certification and renewal for women-owned businesses.• Collaborate with head office teams to support the certification process.Strengthen Member Buyers Relationship:• Engage with member buyers on procurement processes to boost opportunities for women-owned businesses.• Develop strategies and plans to increase business with women-owned enterprises.• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on women business ownership and global value chains.Lead Generation• Collaborate with regional directors and business development teams to engage member buyers and position WEConnect International’s brand.• Develop leads and strategies to expand the organization's presence in Bangladesh and increase membership.• Execute business development and fundraising strategies for regional events.Enabling Connections• Support adoption of the WECommunity database by women-owned businesses and members.• Facilitate connections between women-owned businesses and member buyers to foster market access and business opportunities.• Organize and lead events promoting engagement between member buyers and women-owned enterprises.Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E)• Submit monthly and quarterly progress reports on activities and work plans.• Participate in global team calls and mid-year reviews.• Provide success stories and impact testimonials to demonstrate results.• Support audits and performance inspections as needed.
