The idea of the dashcamUa initiative was born among Ukrainian graduates of Western universities in 2015. In 2016, the dashcamUa NGO was officially registered. The main goal is to significantly reduce the number of road fatalities.At the same time, in 2016 we had the first attempt to launch the MVP of the app. Unfortunately, then mobile data was at the level of EDGE technology, and the prospects for launching 3G networks were still in question. Also, mobile phone cameras were less developed, and phone processors couldn’t work in multitasking mode. Mobile phone users did not trust phones as they do now, when secure mobile banking apps have proven that you can entrust them not only your personal information but your finances as well.Only by 2019 it became clear that project development can be resumed. The level of data security has significantly improved. Modern mobile phones have developed and are still developing largely with cameras and more powerful processors. This allowed us to update the concept of the mobile application and prepare a prototype. After launching the prototype, we saw that the community supported the dashcamUa initiative even more than expected. The unfortunate statistics of road deaths showed the need for immediate action.Legislation Bill #5798 is currently being considered by the National Parliament of Ukraine (Verkhovna Rada). It has already received positive approval from the Main Scientific and Expert Department and has been recommended for adoption by the Parliamentary Committee on Law Enforcement. The expected time for consideration of the bill in the Parliament is winter 2022.In addition to Ukraine, the project is of interest to other countries: the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Georgia, and others. We have received the support of a number of international organizations, including the World Bank, which conducts certain areas of assistance to projects in the field of road safety.

Managing project supporting testing and development of the core platform for various energy applications. Support of legacy applications and releases in production, testing of new releases, and integration with other vendor’s software.

Managing Oil and Gas transmission platform testing and development project. Started project from 2 FTE and grew team up to 18 FTE, test, and automation engineers. Educated several SMEs in software development. The team was highly evaluated by the client, participated onsite in FAT and SAT for the biggest customer.Responsibilities:Backlog management, Project management, Team management, Team facilitation, SCRUM implementation for local and onsite teams, learning and knowledge management process establishment. Team staffing and training.

Managing the development of EV charging and billing platform based on OCPP protocol. The project was done by Luxoft from the stretch, beginning from requirements identification.Responsibilities:Resource, Scope, and Budget management. Project planning, and execution. Requirements elaboration. Legal documentation processing, negotiations with the clients. Took the role of Product Owner and Scrum Master on different stages of the project implementation.

The first company in Ukraine started the development of mobile games on Java2ME. Joined the team as a junior test engineer and in less than 2 years became a test manager responsible for processes and team of 4 test engineers.
