Key Responsibilities:- Inbound Logistics: Overseeing the import of goods from Asia and Europe to Germany, with a focus on sea freight that requires a 12-week lead time. Managing air freight for time-sensitive shipments and addressing supplier-related issues.- Outbound Logistics: Coordinating the export of finished products to international customers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery, and handling any logistics-related challenges.- Inventory Management: Ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet production needs while minimizing holding costs.- Production & Order Planning: Creating detailed production plans, confirming customer orders, and resolving bottlenecks to guarantee on-time delivery.- Specialized Transportation: Arranging special logistics, including both air and sea freight, for shipments from suppliers to our facilities and from our facilities to customers.- Data & Backlog Analysis: Leveraging Excel and SQL for analyzing customer demand, supplier performance, and order fulfillment, along with conducting backlog analysis to enhance production and delivery timelines.Achievements:- Process Improvement: Achieved a 40% reduction in processing time for an outsourcing project by automating routine tasks with software solutions.- Container Project: Successfully transitioned from booking partial container space to ordering full containers from Asia, thereby improving efficiency and reducing costs through better container utilization.
