I am deeply passionate about improving access to quality prosthetics and orthotics services in Uganda. My journey began with completing a Diploma in Orthopedic Technology, where I gained hands-on experience and honed my technical skills. As the coordinator of the Prosthetics and Orthotics student class, I organized workshops and engaged in community outreach, showcasing my leadership abilities.Volunteering and working at organizations like The Hand Project, Mulago National Referral Hospital, and St Joseph Community Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center have further enriched my expertise and instilled in me a profound sense of empathy and compassion. My goal is to continue serving underserved communities, utilizing my skills to enhance mobility and independence for individuals with physical disabilities.Continuous professional development is crucial to me, as it allows me to provide innovative and quality care while staying updated on advancements in the field."
