I am responsible for the efficient processing of the Bill of Materials for all Optus build sites, and for stock control on the Optus Project within 2 warehouses throughout Queensland. Also efficiently manage and co-ordinate stock transfers and movement from other states to stock QLD Warehouse. I also communicate to the Project where logistically, the Project is looking for parts and consumables; this then provides a snap-shot for construction of new sites for the client. I also regularly negotiate with Toll/NQX on contractual agreements in place for delivery timeframes for remote sites located throughout Queensland.

Issue tooling and all PPE requirements to co- workers on a daily basis, compile asset, tooling registers and compiled purchase orders for construction site requirements. Working in the Underground Warehouse at Cracow Gold Mine, receiving inwards freight and sending outwards freight from Mine Site. Stocktaking and general housekeeping. Locating new stock items within the Store and issuing stock to work-orders. Conduct daily fuel dips and escorting trucks on and off mine site. Stock-take the surface Explosive Mag and Underground Mag. Part of my duties was to contact suppliers for quotations and to chase up where any missing items for stock/work orders were. (Expediting). Assist the purchasing officer in purchase requests for Production and Maintenance. During the transition from Downer EDI Mining to Evolution Mining becoming owner operator, managed a Stock Take team to do a 100% Stock Take of the underground Warehouse. During the course of this transition I instructed new members of the Underground Warehouse team on procedures and Safety requirements for the Warehouse and Maintenance Workshop.
