From the time I was a boy, I've grown up surrounded by sports. I had older siblings who played sports, My entire family cheered for local teams, and as a middle and high school student, I got to play sports myself. My love of sports has grown and I want to pursue a full-time career coaching and teaching others. I want to be able to impart some of the best things sports helped to teach me to others because I firmly believe that being involved in athletics can be a life-changer for someone's future. In college, I was also able to play sports, coach sports, and be an assistant to a youth group. I had the fortune to be a summer counselor in 2019 at an all-boys camp and was in charge of a cabin of ten boys a week. It was the greatest summer of my life, and I would give anything to be back in a situation like that.During college, I also donated plasma, spent weekends on outreach at parks, and worked part-time on campus while pursuing my four-year degree. As I graduate I look forward to the opportunity to use what I've learned since I was a child as a way of helping others.
