Client Service Executive

In 2012, I transferred from the Dublin to Singapore office as part of the acquisition of GSAS by State Street. My key responsibilities in this role include:- Main client relationship point for some of the biggest hedge funds in APAC- Working with the reconciliation team in Hangzhou to build out the team, this involved numerous trips to China to ensure the transition of work went as smooth as possible from the home site in Singapore.- Working on major transitions, including the transition of the GSAS funds onto the IGLS platform and the migration of the Australian unit Trust funds onto the IGLS platform from MCH- On-boarding new funds onto the platform, a mixture of start ups and existing funds- Review of fund documents during the on-boarding process- Meeting face to face with clients to discuss current service delivery and creating opportunities for improvements - Management of one of the two hedge teams in the Singapore office

In August 2012, I joined Goldman Sachs Administration Services where I worked as a fund accountant for hedge funds located in Europe and the US. Shortly after I joined, GSAS was acquired by State Street and as a result I transferred back. Following the acquisition I was requested to go on a secondment to Singapore to help onboard the funds from Geneva to the IGLS platform. During my time at HedgeServ, I gained exposure to Private Equity Funds and completed daily and monthly Nav process for five Private Equity Funds. Additional responsibilities included:- Reviewing the completion of cash and position reconciliations by the Fund Accountants before being released to client- Carrying out control checks to ensure all procedures were followed for the completion of the Nav. This included carrying out general ledger checks to ensure all transactions were hitting the correct accounts- Meeting strict client daily deadlines which included the completion of Profit and Loss comparisons and Nav reports- Completing month end packs including Fixed Income, Non-Trading accruals, Reconciliations and Trial Balance within strict client deadlines - Allocations and Post Nav sections for manager review before being released to the client- Dealing with internal and external Auditor requests and ensuring they have sufficient information to carry out their service- Booking all corporate actions on the Fund to ensure that the Fund manager can rely on the Nav calculation- Using resources such as Bloomberg and Reuters to gather pricing and corporate action back up- Providing coaching, guidance and support to staff on technical, professional and client issues

Working as part of team for a global client, my core responsibilities during this three year role included:- Supervising work carried out by colleagues in State Street Global offices by reviewing their cash and reconciliations- Preparing Financial Statements for month end packs which included Fixed Income, Non-Trading accruals, Reconciliations and Trial Balance sections- Developing Allocations and Post Nav sections for manager review before releasing to the client- Ensuring all Navs were accurate and the accountings records were up to date- Preparing dividend recs for funds with over 6000 positions and processing all corporate actions that affected the funds- Using resources such as Bloomberg and Reuters to gather pricing and corporate action back up- Providing coaching, guidance and support to junior staff

- Responsible for analysing potential and current clients financial statements- Preparing loan applications as part of the intra bank syndicated loan markets- Using resources such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Moodys and Fitch to carry out credit rating checks of potential clients
