I’m a third-year Zoology major at the University of Guelph, driven by my passion for animal care and science. My goal is to become a veterinarian and help improve the well-being of animals through hands-on care, research, and education. I have a special interest in small animal exotics, such as birds, and I’m particularly drawn to working in emergency veterinary hospitals, where I can gain experience in their care and treatment. With experience in various lab settings, including dissections, titrations, and microscopy, I’ve developed practical skills and strong attention to detail.Currently, I’m seeking opportunities as a veterinary assistant or receptionist to gain hands-on experience in animal care environments. I enjoy working with people and animals alike, making me well-suited for roles that blend technical work with customer service.Outside of academics, I am part of the Guelph Oxfam Ambassador team, where I support global social justice initiatives. I also enjoy occasional reading of fictional novels, which helps me unwind and stay creative.
