Airbnb price prediction - regression modelingThe objective of this project was to build a regression model that can accurately predict the rental price of any Airbnb listing in the United States, based on the features given to the model. This project utilized tools from python libraries such as pandas, numpy, seaborn, and scikit-learn. A linear regression model, random forest model, and k-neighbors regression model were built to solve this problem and performance was assessed. Classifying real and fake disaster tweets - natural language processingThe objective of this project was to build a model that can successfully distinguish between a real disaster tweet and a fake one. Tweets contained certain keywords such as "fire", "collision", and "evacuate". This project involved data wrangling and cleaning, exploratory data analysis, text preprocessing, and model training and building. Tools utilized include Jupyter Notebook, Python, and Python libraries such as pandas, numpy, seaborn, matplotlib, and scitkitlearn. Models utilized in this project include Naive Bayes, Logistic Regression, and Support Vector Machines.
