Microsoft AppFactory, a Flagship skill development program by Microsoft under LMKT SPARK umbrella has the mandate to take talented and passionate young people from around the country and give them the chance to harness and develop world-class software development skills.As an Advisory Member, we collaborate to design a curriculum for the AppFactory apprentices/trainees, designing a three months course. The trainees are trained to work on real-world projects at LMKT Spark.

Apart from a lengthy JD, here are some highlights of what I have doneIncreased SDLC efficiency by almost 30%.Helped optimize already built screening apps (with complex algos), with capacity to screen 2 million patients a week.Defined architecture for building centralized EMR system for Punjab.Helped hire skillful tech consultants and regular contract employees.Helped upgrade data-center and used cloud infrastructure, when needed.Helped procure licenses and subcriptions, such as Windows Server 2016, RHEL, O365.Built DevOps team and helped train resources to use Containers (Docker), and defined load-balancing protocols.Divided resources in teams, and sub teams at HISDU (Healthcare Information Systems Delivery Unit).

Worked closely with Microsoft DX team. Organized and spoke on tech, especially role of Microsoft in Open Source, as a Microsoft Community Leader and Speaker. Mentored tech startups at MIC Incubation Center startups and their developers.

Lead a team for developing Digital Proximity Marketing product (PompBazaar).Managed cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, mostly Linux based.Optimized IaaS and its software and OS for cost-efficiency to support initial stages.Architected algorithms with the help of a founder, to provide Business Intelligence.
