In 2017, Fast Company ranked Clique as the world's 4th most innovative company in the retail space and 26th most innovative company overall.I collaborated with interdepartmental teams to architect performant user-facing and administrative media and e-commerce single page applications with a modular React/Redux/Next architecture visited by over 30MM unique users monthly.In coordination with a talented team of senior engineers, I architected home pages for five editorial sites, achieving Google PageSpeed Scores of 99 on mobile and 93 on desktop. I produced components and data flow for templates backing over 2,500 articles, growing views per session by 61 percent. I devised components, data models and flow for 686 article aggregator list pages, bolstering search traffic by 62 percent. I built, tested, and implemented React UI and Redux state private NPM packages across sites in a maintainable, modular design.On the back-end, I created data models and Varnish cached JSON REST API microservices for outfit, influencer, and trending e-commerce entities using Node and MongoDB to enable our merchandising department to curate our websites and mobile application. I developed cost-effective Go AWS Lambda functions to retrieve, process, and upload e-commerce data held in MongoDB/PostgreSQL to S3 to be Varnish cached and reverse-proxied with NGINX to efficiently service our mobile app.

Seedux actively logs and visualizes the Redux data flow, enabling easier, faster debugging of any React-Redux implementation.I worked with two fellow engineers to develop a modified client-server architecture to implement predictable asynchronous data flow between the user’s SPA and the content, background, and developer tool scripts, preventing race conditions and enabling data persistence. We illustrated React-Redux data-flow by implementing D3 tree visualization in reusable React component using faux DOM. We provided visual feedback for user actions dispatched from developer’s app to clarify data flow and simplify debugging. We lexically parsed user’s bundled code for tokens at run-time and assembled token nodes into tree data structures. We created a logger middleware with time machine capabilities using Chrome messaging and higher order reducer wrapper. We enabled store import/export functionality, allowing developers to reproduce state for integration testing without browser automation.

I led a team of four associates in planning and executing operations for the accelerator, managed sponsor relationships with Amazon, American Airlines, Cooley LLP, IBM, Silicon Valley Bank, Sprint and others, conducted initial due diligence on over 800 prospective portfolio ventures, and consulted for eleven digital healthcare start-ups on web development, geopolitical risk analysis, sales and marketing.

I directed technical strategic projects for Deloitte, the United Nations Foundation, the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), the Sacramento Conventions and Visitors Bureau, Prevent Child Abuse America, the Everglades Foundation and HeroX. I worked as a research assistant for USC School of International Relations'​ Professor Dr. Carol Wise. Over summer 2014, I received a competitive Summer Undergraduate Research Fund award to assist Professor Wise with her research on international political economy. During the fall semester of 2014, I received a Student Opportunities for Academic Research award to continue my work.I primarily focused on the divergent approaches undertaken to instill domestic recoveries following economic recessions and global financial crises afflicting the regions of Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. I researched, reviewed and wrote academic material on patterns in trade, investment and foreign aid trends between the powers of East Asia and the nation-states of Latin America and the Caribbean for the Asia-Pacific Task Force Paper and my professor's forthcoming book. I reviewed, summarized and formatted citations for Professor Wise’s forthcoming co-edited collection of essays: "Unexpected Outcomes: How Emerging Markets Survived the Global Financial Crisis." I also wrote a paper examining the economic, political, diplomatic, and strategic aspects of the Free Trade Agreement established between China and Costa Rica. I utilized various databases to assemble tables demonstrating my analyses.

Innovation: Africa is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that brings Israeli innovation to African villages. Founded in 2008, in six years Innovation Africa has provided light, clean water, food and proper medical care to more than 675,000 people in Ethiopia, Tanzania, Malawi, Uganda, South Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Innovation: Africa has Special Consultative Status to the United Nations Economics and Social Council (ECOSOC). As a member of TAMID Group USC, I led a team of six students from diverse academic and professional backgrounds in conducting feasibility analyses on the implementation of innovative sanitation solutions and solar cooker technologies in African villages. We researched sanitation systems, solar cookers and other innovative technologies to be implemented in Innovation: Africa's countries of focus. We recommended technologies, two pilot programs and implementation plans through presentations to our client.

TAMID is a fast growing business organization that is also established on high-profile campuses such as Harvard, Berkeley, UPenn, Cornell, and University of Michigan. Each semester, members of TAMID at USC learn about the Israeli economy, consult for funded Israeli start-ups, and invest in a small portfolio comprised of securities listed in the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. A select group of students is also selected to intern at prestigious firms in Israel during the summer as a part of the TAMID fellowship.As Director of Consulting for TAMID Group USC, I developed consultative relations and projects with five Israeli tech start-ups and one non-profit. I directed consulting projects for Breezometer, Coffee & Honey Co. Flytrex, Genoox, Innovation: Africa, and MyPermissions. These projects involved providing advisory services in the areas of business strategy, market research and entry, competitive analysis, partnership development, software engineering and others. I created six consulting teams and directed 42 individuals who served as Project Managers and Consulting Analysts. I attended team meetings to assess Project Manager performance, provide advice, and receive feedback from Consulting Analysts. I also organized and led events, including weekly meetings to provide guidance for the Project Managers, a workshop about consulting featuring a case study, and two internal consulting team presentation events.

The organization aims to be permanently aware of social demands and future needs and play a key role in the global space for Higher Education through research, experimentation, consultation, educational innovation and by supporting decision makers in education and employment policy. Tuning International Academy has influenced the education industry in 126 countries across Europe, North and Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia.In the office, I was responsible for a large range of work in English, Spanish, French, and other European languages. I assisted with the "EU-India Tuning study," a project authorized by The Directorate European Commission for Education and Culture. I conducted research on Indian universities and Indian educational organizations as well as Indian scholars and academic administration members. I found hotels, created itineraries, and maintained contact databases for educational consulting trips to India. I assisted in editing educational consulting presentations, marketing materials, legal contracts, and the English version of the Tuning International Academy website. I assisted with the project "Emerging Modes of Cooperation between Private Sector Organisations and Universities" by inputting data from surveys completed by major European corporations and organizations regarding employer and educational needs to augment degree curriculum so it better suits real world application. I also assisted with the design of the questionnaire for the "Second Survey on the Impact of Tuning," which will study successful cases of the implementation of the Tuning methodology in universities.

SpaceIL is competing for the $20 million Google Lunar X Prize and plans to use the award money to promote science and scientific education in Israel, to ensure that Israel will continue to live up to its reputation for excellence in these fields.As a member of TAMID Group USC, I conducted business intelligence research and competitive analysis of 21 Google Lunar X Prize teams, researched a merger opportunity, and supported marketing and fundraising efforts for the organization.

The Los Angeles World Affairs Council is a non-partisan and non-profit organization. Over the last six decades, the Council has hosted eight US presidents and more than 250 domestic and foreign heads of state, corporations, universities, media, and social movements. Speakers deliver a presentation following a three-course lunch or dinner at an upscale hotel or private club. The LAWAC welcomes a wide variety of opinions from its speakers and members. As an institution dedicated to furthering global understanding, LAWAC endeavors to represent as many nations as possible in its program offerings.In the office, I was responsible for designing event fliers, outreach and event promotion to Fortune 500 executives, local periodicals, and prominent business people in Los Angeles, researching potential future speakers, posting events on websites, taking event reservations, creating content for the organization's Facebook page, creating mailings, and assisting with administrative tasks.I also volunteered at events such as the Consular Corps Reception at Mayor Garcetti's house and speaking events featuring USC President Nikias, Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan, Chief White House Correspondent Peter Baker, AJC Executive Director David Harris, entrepreneur Elon Musk, and former President Bill Clinton at upscale hotels. I set up equipment, greeted guests, dispensed tickets, answered questions, and assisted with the VIP reception.

Conquest Capital Ventures is the University of Southern California's first student run investment fund focused on creating a social and environmental impact as well as increasing the financial bottom line. In spring of 2013 we advised B Revolution Capital, an angel venture capital network with similar goals.I led a team in researching impact ventures, conducting due diligence, connecting with entrepreneurs, and ultimately producing a presentation to support our investment recommendation. I also interviewed new candidates.
