Hey hey 😁I'm Manuel Alarcon Nava (He/Him/El) - all opinions are my own ✨I am currently a talent acquisition specialist at Old National Bank supporting retail banking centers across MI, IL, WI, IN, and assisting in realizing our summer internship program for incoming summer 2024 interns (my 2nd complete recruiting cycle). This is my first job right out of college, and I am incredibly grateful of my journey, so far. I am a first-generation-DACAmented-mexican-immigrant college graduate (yes all the hyphens). I got my first job out of college by going to a career fair -> connecting with a recruiter -> staying connected -> recruiter offer me an opportunity during my last semester-> temporary role for 5 months ->staying confident and applying internally for a full-time role. My young professional journey makes me reflect on my 20 years in this country: coming at the age of three -> living in a Mexican household -> navigating America -> growing up Latino, undocumented, and queer-> still figuring out life.Both of my journeys begged me to remain relentless, open, and strong.
