As a wildlife biologist with over four years of experience in coastal bird conservation and data analysis, I am passionate about advancing the mission and vision of Mass Audubon, the largest nature conservation nonprofit in Massachusetts. I currently lead the North Shore crew of the Coastal Waterbird Program, which monitors and protects piping plovers, terns, and other shorebirds.In this role, I supervise and train a team of four field technicians, collect and manage field data, prepare and submit reports, and collaborate with partners and stakeholders. I also implement management actions, such as fencing, signage, predator control, and public outreach, to ensure the safety and success of the breeding birds. Previously, I worked as a Shorebird Technician at Duxbury Beach Reservation and a Field Biologist at NOAA, where I gained valuable skills in data collection, data analysis, outreach, and ecological management. I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a concentration in Wildlife & Environmental Biology from Framingham State University. I am committed to contributing to the conservation of coastal waterbirds and their ecosystems.
