I am working in Cyber Security Industry as SOC manager. I have over 8+ years of experience in IT industry. Currently i am working as SOC Manager at Etech Global Services. My current role as below.• Lead and manage Security Operations Center• Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures• Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs• Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events• Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms• Review reports on incidents and breaches• Investigate and resolve issues• Create reports for management on security status• Analyze data to form proposals for improvements• Ensure compliance to SLA, process adherence and process improvisation to achieve operational objectives• Revise and develop processes to strengthen the current Security Operations Framework, Review policies and highlight the challenges in managing SLAs• Responsible for integration of standard and non-standard logs in SIEM• Co-ordination with stakeholders, build and maintain positive working relationships with them• Maintain situational awareness of escalated events and alerts, tools status, vulnerability status, forensics and malware investigations, intelligence status, and all other SOC functions• Develop program of training and coaching sessions for SOC personnel on analytic techniques and tools• NIST SP 800 series or ISO 27000 series documents for information security management and risk assessment
