Malay is a Mechanical Engineer with specialization in Dies and Mould manufacturing. He has more than 33 years of varied industrial experience. He started his career as a design & process engineer in a white goods company in Delhi, India. Over the next 16 years he has worked at various levels in the automotive components manufacturing industry - in Engineering, Production Engineering, Production, as MR for ISO systems, in Maintenance, Tool Room, Vendor Up-gradation/Development, Quality Control, New Projects and as Business Unit Head of top tier 1 OEM suppliers in India. Malay has learnt and used the latest Lean, WCM & TPM Tools which have been used by Toyota and other world class OEMs throughout the world. He has got international trainings and industrial exposure at Europe and East Asian countries. Has been actively involved in setting up and running Joint ventures and Technical Agreements with collaborators.Malay has a passion for teaching and hand-holding and that is why he is now (since last more than 17 years) a full time coach, trainer, adviser & consultant for bringing about Operational Excellence in a wide range of manufacturing organizations. Through his company EFESO Consulting, he is currently helping bringing about positive change at Pharma and medical device manufacturers, food, confectionary and beverage industries, prefabricated building manufacturers, textile and garment manufacturers, cosmetics & automotive parts producers and the adhesives and ink manufacturing sectors.
