As the Dominion Post books editor I was responsible for the newspaper’s books coverage including writing, editing and commissioning interviews, features, and reviews, and developing and managing a team of freelance contributors and staff writers. I worked to ensure high-quality and diverse coverage of New Zealand writing, including poetry, and championed insightful discussion of books and writing via newspaper and online content.
