Reporting directly to the Managing Directors my responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Overall responsibility for Finance / Controlling /Accounting and Tax function• Management of the finance team and assignment of direct responsibilities to accounting staff• Taking leadership on changes in IFRS's and Tax law (incl. training and communication)• Primary contact for auditors and tax advisers• Management of accounting personnel incl. personal development, review meetings etc..• Overall responsibility over management reporting as well as;• Responsibility over financial statements• Responsibility over budgets• Responsibility over consolidation process within the Lufthansa group.Further responsibilities include:Data Protection Coordinator for Finance group of companies having overall responsibility for managing data protection affairs for the companies.IT Coordinator for the local companies with an overall responsibility for managing the IT requirements of the companies including liaising with outsourced IT specialists as well as group requirements.

• Monitoring of activities in pension assets• Reporting to Head of Pension Team• Interacting and maintaining a professional relationship with asset managers, custodian bank, auditors and other service providers• Participation in the Negotiations of Investment Management Agreements with Portfolio Managers• Investments of Contributions / Execution of Rebalancing of Assets (resetting of strategic allocation)• Monitoring of Risk/Performance Indicators• Execution of Hedging of foreign exchange risk by dealing FX spots, forwards, NDFs and swaps• Cash flow Planning and investment of Fund’s Liquidity• Payments of capital calls, fees payable to asset managers, custodian bank and other service providers• Preparation and assessment of RfP's from asset managers in various asset classes.
