During this project a package evaluation was performed and subsequently a mainframe package was implemented during June 1997 at branches throughout the country. Some time was spent after the implementation supporting the users. • Evaluation and formulation of the Electronic Commerce strategies that the bank should be following within the vehicle financing division, taking into account the overall strategy of the bank in this regard. This project involved substantial research with regards to a technology that was only emerging at that time (i.e. Electronic Commerce, Internet Banking, etc). • The design and implementation of a system at a bank specializing in agricultural sector finance. This project involved replacing the existing legacy mainframe system with a more flexible and modern system. I was in charge of the team developing loans functionality which would interface to the backend financial system. I was also responsible for the rollout and support of the system to all of the branches within the bank. Show less
