Whilst being a specialised Industry it has the same challenges that all industries face whether people management, finance focused, delivery driven or just plain daily issues. My Executive role kept me focused on the important issues of strategy, finances, company structure, contractual deliveries, tenders and company performance. Being an Engineer though has always enabled me to delve into the technical detail when required.
