My current position was brought about by a business friend who had a requirementto improve their business digital identity and their I.T infrastructure within themicrobiological manufacturing sector. I was brought on board to sort out thesituation and stabilise systems in order for the company to continue forward on apath of expansion. During this period the company web presence has beenre-written and errors rectified resulting in E&O now enjoying high rankingsamongst their competitors online. My position was to develop continued growth for the company on all possible e-commerce fronts, using and implementing new technologies as and when they appeared on the global stage. I was responsible for the entire design, functionality, and marketing and excelled in planning, designing, forecasting, setting objectives and determining courses of action. As a Director it was in my best interests to budget, analyse and report on all aspects of the company’s e-commerce front with a high degree of accuracy to the shareholders and stakeholders of the company. My role was to manage a team of support technicians for the company’s range of flatbed image scanners. The role required phone support and the repair of mechanical and electronics to component level.
