● Calibration of micro-processor, solid state and electro-mechanical protective relay of various manufactures to include Schweitzer, GE, Beckwith, Areva, Alstom and Basler.● Experience with relays: SEL 351A, 351S, 251, 751, 421, GE electromechanical IAC, PJC, BDD, PVD, fault pressure relays, lockouts etc.● Perform commissioning, testing and maintenance of protective relaying equipment, RTU, Annunciators, DC/AC station supply, battery banks, Circuit breakers, distribution panels, motor operators (S&C Mark V, series 2000), NERC CIP station equipment, Novatech Orion 5r/LX, as well as other metering / communication equipment.● Perform function testing of substation control circuits on relay panel, transformers and circuit breakers. ● Perform functional tests including but not limited to distribution / transmission panel calibration, trip by lockout tests, circuit breaker operational, RTU testing (ASE 2000, RS 232/485), CT testing, Single point ground test by using Megger, fiber testing (200/75-micron fiber). ● Utilize Doble Protest and Protection Suit software and hardware (Doble 6150) to build protective relay test plans.● Read and interpret control prints, AC/DC elementary diagrams, wiring diagrams, junction box prints, relaying schematics, circuit schedules, point assignments, protective schemes.● Troubleshoot distribution and transmission controls & supervisory circuits.● Perform switching of substation equipment while using proper PPE.● Experience with switchgear and metalclad indoor stations.● Use work tools to strip & lug cable, replace terminal blocks, jumper points, screw/unscrew wires, terminate fiber and more.
